Recommended SpeedFan Settings
Recommended Service Settings
Since Speedfan saves its settings per user, the instance of Speedfan run by the service will only have access to the settings of the user its run under. By default, this is the "Local System" account, which has no custom settings. To allow the service use the settings you configure through the Speedfan UI via the MMC console:
- go to Services snap-in (i.e. run services.msc)
- double click on SpeedFan Service
- click on the Log On tab
- select the "This acount" radio button, enter your account username/password in the fields, then press OK.
